biography

A Boston, Massachusetts native, Lindsay Zir is a Los Angeles based Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist. With a Bachelors degree in theater from New York University, Zir relocated to Los Angeles in 2000 where she worked as an actress for ten years.

Her passion for fashion and costumes went from a hobby to a full-time career in 2010 when she closed the acting chapter in her life and began styling actor Cory Monteith of "Glee" fame. A mere three months after their first red carpet event together, Monteith was awarded 'Future Style Icon: Male' at the Hollywood Style Awards.

Zir designed her first feature film in 2012 (BATTLE SCARS) and hasn't looked back since. In the past twelve years, she has wrapped eleven feature films and four short films as Costume Designer (most recently, MAXIMUM TRUTH with Ike Barinholtz and Dylan O'Brien and THE GIRL IN THE POOL with Freddie Prinze, Jr.) and styled over fifty commercials and music videos (including Imagine Dragons' "Next to Me" with acclaimed Director, Mark Pellington).

Zir resides in Los Angeles, but travels wherever the job takes her.
